A quick take on the Lab and Owl
In 1997 I had a question:
Why can't I use a computer to do research, design, write a novel, play, and my computer develops an understanding of me and what I am creating? It would use a Natural Language Processing "whiteboard" to create a personalized interrelated "molecules" of research, plan, novel, play . . . that are shareable. The outcome would be interactive knowledge communities.
25 years later that has become possible. So, I set out to create it.
Why?
I had an sense of something billions of people and creatures experience moment by moment -- life is interconnected -- from the sun to fading energy at the end of daylight.
Combining those molecules of ideas with life in the midst of climate change not only made sense. It is urgent.
It resulted in kokomos and Gems:

Motivating Assumption
I don't think I'm wrong about this: all earth creatures are super-beings that physically manifext quantum relationships on big and tiny scales. We're related on a quantum scale. Our bodies reveal and subside in these relationship moment by moment.
Acting on this assumption on a comunity-scale "we" can unite social, cultural, environmental function -- if the tools exist...
So, kokomos and Owl are born.
